Friday, August 24 starting at 6:30 pm at Paprika Restaurant & Music House enjoy an all-star group of singer/songwriters including Bill Kavanagh, Felecia Ford, Jack Joshua, Doug Robinson, German Arroyo, Mike Duncan and Rodrigo Vargas as they present a rocking evening of music to support Angelitos Sanctuario.
San Miguel is well known for having several excellent animal rescue and adoption operations, but none so ambitious as the Angelitos Sanctuario, which is the project of a group of compassionate Americans and Mexicans. Together, they have created an animal sanctuary whose focus is currently on dogs, puppies, and burros; with future plans to include a rescue falconry for birds of prey and some wildlife.
Your concert admission goes directly to the efforts to finish building their permanent sanctuary where they’re already hard at work caring for over 100 animal residents. Over the years, the sanctuary has rescued thousands of animals and this new permanent location will enable them to help thousands more.
The music you’ll hear will span rock, jazz, folk, oldies and originals. Lots of harmonies and strong melodies and feel-good stuff. We hear there will even a be a string quartet featured on one original composition entitled “Who’s Saving Who?”
Reservations can be made by stopping in Paprika and talking to Fran, or via WhatsApp at 52 415 124 2338. Suggested donation $400 pesos; $200 pesos restaurant/bar minimum consumption.
