That is right… you read that correctly! Why would I say that? Because it is true. Any healer who claims that he or she has cured or healed anyone, has allowed his/her EGO to shine over the real truth. San Miguel has been blessed with many fine physicians, therapists, healers and skilled professionals.
It amazes me that this little pueblo can have so much healing talent both foreigners and Mexicans alike. The greatest doctors and healers have learned one of the most important lessons in healing. The power that made the body, heals the body.
When the cardio-thoracic surgeon finishes with the heart transplant after an exhausting number of hours in surgery, the doctor can say with certainty “The surgery was successful and now we must give the patient a few days to see how the body will respond. What is the doctor actually saying?" He/she is recognizing that the actual response of the body depends on a power bigger than a knife, needle, pill or potion.
The same power that heals the body can be referred to as “Mother Nature”, “Innate Intelligence” or simply the body´s inherent ability to respond.
Some patients after their heart surgery respond quite favorably while others do not and may even die.
If the doctor´s skillful procedure is the same in two different patients with the same condition but the outcome of the surgery is grossly different, one must recognize that any healer, doctor or dedicated health practitioner actually isn´t responsible for the healing.
The miraculous ability of the body to heal has so much more to do with an Infinite Intelligence far superior to the doctor assisting in the healing process.I can say unequivocally that I, as a doctor of chiropractic, have never healed anyone! I have assisted in many patients healing process, but in all honesty, the healing may come through me but certainly not from me. This entire theme can be summarized by saying…
The Power that created the body, heals the body from above, down, inside, and then expressed outwardly. For any healer in whatever specialty one has chosen, and anyone interested in becoming a healer should learn that lesson as soon as possible.
The greatest healers take no credit, nor take any blame for the outcome of a patient´s condition. The optimum service to others requires five important factors preparation, skill, intention, humility, and gratitude.
Citizens and residents beware! There are numerous self - proclaimed “healers” who boldly claim that they can “heal” certain health conditions. Many of these are bordering on quackery.
It is important to find people in the healing professions that are sincere, humble, dedicated to serve with their talents, grateful for the opportunity to serve the community but make no such false claims about healing others. I trust that my point is well taken. San Miguel, as well as the rest of the world, needs fine doctors and healers who recognize their human limitations as well as the trust in the ultimate power that actually does the healing.
